A Valentine tank advances towards two members of the 2nd Battalion and their Vickers Machine Gun during training at the Royal Armoured Corps Indian Depot in Poona.

Valentines were used by the British in North Africa and the Far East, as well as for training.  They were also used by the Soviet Union.  They were obsolete by the end of the war.

Major Robert 'Rex' King-Clark, the second in command of the 2nd Battalion, took part in this training.
